The building is a pleasant and popular venue for a range of meetings and other events. We have rooms large and small for hire, with full kitchen and toilet facilities. There is a lift to the first floor and disabled access to all parts of the building except the Worship Area galleries.

Accommodation includes:

The 484 square metre Worship Area and balcony that can be hired for a variety of functions and seats over 500 people
The Guildhall, which is the largest of our community halls. Covering 135 square metres, it has a separate entrance and its own kitchen and toilet facilities. The seating capacity ranges from 40 to 200, depending upon the layout of the furniture
The Small Hall is 46 square metres. It has limited catering facilities and can seat between 26 and 50 people in a variety of different layouts
On the first floor are three separate meeting rooms, each 12 metres square. Meeting rooms 1 and 2 can be combined to provide an area of 24 square metres
The Lower Cloister provides a 54 metre run of wall space for 3 metre high displays

Whiteboards are provided in the Small Hall and each of the meeting rooms. Flip charts, OHPs and screens are also available on request.

Various other spaces are available for hire.

Hire Rates

All rooms and halls are let on a sessional basis. A session is three hours. Rooms can be hired for morning, afternoon and evening sessions or any combination thereof. A dual scale of charges is operated for use of the building, with different rates for commercial and concessionary hire.
