Image of the Guildhall The Guildhall is a meeting place for business and commerce in the City Centre. This large hall, which rises to two storeys in height, measures 15 metres by 10 metres. It can accommodate up to 130 people for conferences or meetings or 100 people for receptions.

There is a fully fitted kitchen and catering can be arranged for a wide variety of events. The double glazed west wall looks over the plaza and sculpture park at the rear of the building.

On the wall to your left is Genesis, a triptych by the artist Samantha Shaw. Born in 1967, Samantha Shaw studied art at the City and Guilds of London Art School taking First Class Honours in the Fine Art Diploma Course (Painting) in 1990. The painting is the artist's impression of the Creation. It should be read from right to left (moving from darkness into light).

We leave the Guildhall and turn right into the Cloister.
